At the Costa del Sol it’s possible to enjoy the best music on such amazing scenario as a millenary cave. It’s Cueva de Nerja’s International Festival of Music and Dance, that reaches in 2017 its 58th edition.
The Cueva de Nerja’s International Festival of Music and Dance is, without any doubt, one of the most anticipated events during the summer at the Costa del Sol, thanks to its great program but also due to the amazing venue that hosts it, the millenary Cave of Nerja. It’s, in fact, an event that gathers performing arts, cultural heritage and patrimony, and it also gives the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful towns of the Axarquia and the Eastern Costa del Sol.
In 2017 the festival reaches its 58th edition, starting on June 10th at the exterior of the Cave with Salvador Távora‘s famous flamenco opera “Carmen”. During a whole month, until July the 1st, the attendees will enjoy great shows such as Cuba’s National Ballet‘s “La magia de la danza”; flamenco singer Arcángel new show, “Tablao”; the performance of violin maestro Paco Montalvo or tenor José Bros‘s recital “Arias y dúos de ópera y zarzuela”, inside the Cave.
On its website there is more details about the schedule of this 58th edition, but also practical information on how to get to Nerja, a half-an-hour car ride from our B bou Hotels La Viñuela & Spa and Cortijo Bravo, and the story of its famous Cave, one of the biggest all over Andalusia.
